Blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) control using ultrasound?

Blue-green algae often cause problems in larger ponds or lakes, where excess nutrients are available. These types of algae are actually one of the oldest types of bacteria, also known as cyanobacteria.

Blue-green algae often dominate a lake during the summer months and are well known to cause severe health problems in humans and animals and can in some cases even lead to the death of humans and animals. Blue-green algae control in a lake or large pond can be difficult because conventional methods to control algae are often not suitable to be used in large water reservoirs or to expensive to be used in a lake. The usage of chemicals to control blue-green algae is not wanted because the may also harm the delicate life present in a lake.

The LG Sonic technology can control blue-green algae in lakes, ponds and other water reservoirs without the need to use chemicals or other methods. The blue-green algae are being controlled with low power sound frequencies and are being killed within a time span of a few weeks. Even in larger water reservoirs of 1 or more kM, LG Sonic can still be applied to effectively control blue-green algae.
