Another year, another POWER-GEN Middle East event. World Leaders are currently in New York for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) summit to discuss poverty, hunger, disease, maternal and child deaths and drinking water and sanitation needs.Even one day into this three-day meeting, the European Union has reportedly offered one billion Euros to help achieve the goals.EU commission president Jose Manuel Barroso said: "We have to produce more effective results because time is running out."But let's rewind just a second.
