The biological growth in the pipes is probably due to common algae, which are resistant to chlorination. UV does a better job
Even though your question is directed to David, I'd like to know if you are doing any type of chlorination? Probably dosing Chlorine would help? I also hear that some people propose UV Sterilization to control Bio films!
I am Rashid Awan, I am working as a "Sales and service Enginner" in Private Co.Manufacture of drinking water system.on NSF/ANSI standard 55 Class "A" systems.
