Bill;

Welcome to the forum! I agree with your post, this a great resource that all operations personell and even those involved with design or as a memeber of an OEM. We on the design side and those involved with OEM's could learn a lot from what the ops people have to say, after all they are the end user of what we create. It does them no good to have to make a poorly designed/equipped WWTP work. I know there is a vast knowledge base to draw from when designing and equipping a new or renovated plant but in the end the operators have to ensure that that plant works and the effluent it generates meets all the set EPA guidlines or it is their butts that are in a sling. I for one look forward ot hearing what kind of input operators have including comments about what types of equipement do or don't work, same for process issues.

After reviewing the WaterWorld Community, I think this is a great opportunity for operators across the country to become involved in an exchange of ideas, to bridge the gap between ones that know and ones eager to learn.
